Catch us live, stream us loud on Spotify and Apple Music, and join a crew that believes music is the spark that lights up the dark.
Founded in June 2008, this Cape Town-based band made their debut at the V&A Waterfront shortly after their establishment. It wasn't long before Cherry Vynil was performing consistently at many local hotspots, including Long Street's Zula Bar and Jackson Hall at Grand West Casino. The band is proud to have shared the stage with South Africa's beloved Freshlyground at the V&A Waterfront in December 2008, as well as with Prime Circle at Aardklop 2010. They are also honored to have performed at the Klein Karoo National Arts Festival (KKNK) in 2009 alongside many respected South African musicians. Later that year, they graced the stages at The Forbidden Fruit Festival and Aardklop in 2009 and 2010. Constantly seeking opportunities to perform and challenge themselves, Cherry Vynil is dedicated to their craft as musicians and performers.
